In the blink of an eye. Everyone disappears. GONE.
Except for the young. Teens. Middle schoolers. Toddlers. But not one single adult. No teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened.
Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents—unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers—that grow stronger by the day.
It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen, a fight is shaping up. Townies against rich kids (Coates Academy). Bullies against the weak. Powerful against powerless. And time is running out: On your 15th birthday, you disappear just like everyone else... A mysterious force field has surrounded itself around the town of Perdido Beach, California. Nothing can see in or out and nothing can get in or out. Kids have already checked, digging deep down until their arms can dig no further and flying up until they hit the top. Yes, flying. All they know is that the nuclear power plant seemed to be its epicenter and that this field has given children abilities they could only imagine as well as mutate animals into dangerous killing machines. The kids have given this area within a field a new name. They call it the Fallout Alley Youth Zone, or FAYZ for short. Life has just gotten so much harder. Will you survive? | |
